KENYANS NEED A SYSTEM THAT UNITES THEM NOT DIVIDE THEM!THE VERY BASIS MUST BE UNITY! SHALOM! PEACE, LOVE AND JOY TO YOU ALL! One Thursday morning, June, 24, 2010 at a Christian prayer meeting, David Kuguru asked me an unexpected question! "So Kamau are you supporting YES or NO in the Kenya Constitution debate? I have been debating within myself for sometimes about this question and had not arrived at a good conclusion. I had been praying for Motherland Kenya over the draft Constitution and the General Election of 2012. After witnessing the happenings of 2007 General Elections with religious leaders anointing two leaders before the elections in the Name of GOD, I was careful to invoke the Name of GOD in the 2010 Kenya Draft Constitution Debate. I thought for a moment and wondered what anwer to give David Kuguru. "My support and prayers are for one Kenya. I am not for Yes or for NO." For some of us who are slow learners, we had thought that the main AGENDA for the next many years was to heal Kenya from the woulds inflicted from 2007 General Election. Sincerely speaking we have not recoved from the shock and the truama of that tragedy, disaster and aftermath. (But they say "Politics is not for the faint-hearted" ). To most Kenyans who have the welfare of their Motherland at heart, 2008 became a tragic year because of the happening of 2007 General Election. In the year 2009 our hopes were beginning to be restored with President Mwai Kibaki bringing all the leaders with various opinions together. What of President Mwai Kibaki visiting Kisumu and dinning with Prime Minister Raila Odinga. Then visiting Rift Valley and dinning with Hon. William Ruto. Then visiting Ukambani and dinning with Vice- President Kalonzo Musyoka. What with the warm relationship with Najib Balala, Musalia Mudavadi, Uhuru Kenyatta and everybody else. These are the politicians who had worked so hard for many years to polarize our beloved motherland Kenya. I am told these politicians did all these damage to our beloved motherland Kenya in order to maintain power or gain power. How pathetic. If anyone is prepared to sacrifice, divide and even kill his own mother to gain or maintain power, this is indeed very pathetic, unpatriotic, un-African and inhuman. So apparently, 2009 was bringing HOPE that MAYBE, MAYBE, these politicians had now seen the light and were working to mend the Kenyan Nation they had torn apart incurring the curses of the founding fathers. (Tell them to read History and read it well). Then,Then come 2010, and boy! could I have been wrong! As if all the Christians and the Religious people who pray to the Living GOD in Heaven had gone to sleep and forsaken all manners of Prayers and worship, the Demons, Devil, and Dragons of divisions of Kenya awoke with unprecedented vigour. After successfully overlooking on the TRIBAL DIVISION of Kenya during the 2005 Draft Constitution Referedum, NOW they had awoken to bring about the RELIGIOUS DIVISION of Kenya in 2010. MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON BELOVED MOTHERLAND KENYA! On these count how I pray that they ( YES AND NO FORCES) might fail in the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST THE LORD! KING of Kings and LORD of Lords.Amen. On these count also how I pray that my analysis is wrong and that no religious, tribal, ethnical, social, economical, politicial, racial, physical or whatever else division of Beloved Motherland Kenya will continue to occur and we can once again live as free and peace loving Kenyans who know and practice love, understanding, peace, wisdom, harmony, unity, and knowledge. Remember GOD saying that, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" Hosea 4:6. I look forward to the birth of the Generation that will have an open mind. A mind and heart that will inquire and find out that the Kenyan Nation as it is today and the African Continent is not a natural occurance. It is not a Divine Design. Rather it is the design of the 1884-1885 Berlin Conference to divide Africa. We all need to underline and write in capital letters the Theme of the Berlin Conference. "TO DIVIDE AFRICA." How then can we year after year attempt to solve our problems if we do not go to the root cause and uproot the problem? How can we continue to use the same terms and systems that were used to divide Africa in trying to solve our problem. When are we going to be fully liberated and develop our own terms and systems of solving our problems. Just hear what one unknown writer states in reference to the Berlin Conference, "The Berlin Conference was Africa's undoing in more ways than one. The colonial powers superimposed their domains on the African Continent. By the time Africa regained its independence after the late 1950s, the realm had acquired a legacy of political fragmentation that could neither be eliminated nor made to operate satisfactorily. The African politico-geographical map is thus a permanent liability that resulted from the three months of ignorant, greedy acquisitiveness during a period when Europe's search for minerals and markets had become insatiable" I said it before and I say it again Multi-party democracy failed in Kenya. Any political sytem that result in death of even one human being has failed. Simply because we cannot put a value on a human being. Logics dictates that if when no elections are held no human being dies and the nation abides in peace and understanding, then forget about holding elections. The question must be asked before the Berlin Conference for dividing Africa, what systems did the traditional Africans societies and tribes use to anoint leaders? Did these systems result in death of human beings? I am not a historian by profession, but we have some of the best historians, artists, literature genius, and idealists in the world. What with Prof. Ali Mazrui, Prof Bethwell Ogot, Prof Joseph Nyasani, Prof. Ngugi Wa Thiong'o and many more Kenyans and Africans. Supposing we were to use the systhesis of the best of our many tribal systems of leadership and add our modern education both western Europe and Eastern Europe. Are we not able to develop a purely Kenyan system? Must we always rely on systems whose the very basis is dividing the people of Kenya, and hence dividing the nation of Kenya? Orange or Banana, Green or Red, Yes or No! If this is not division what do you call it?And please never tell me about majority rule. Hear what Pilate say about Jesus Christ and majority rule, Matthew 27:15-26 "15Now it was the governor's custom at the Feast to release a prisoner chosen by the crowd. 16At that time they had a notorious prisoner, called Barabbas. 17So when the crowd had gathered, Pilate asked them, "Which one do you want me to release to you: Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?" 18For he knew it was out of envy that they had handed Jesus over to him. 19While Pilate was sitting on the judge's seat, his wife sent him this message: "Don't have anything to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered a great deal today in a dream because of him." 20But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus executed. 21"Which of the two do you want me to release to you?" asked the governor. "Barabbas," they answered. 22"What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called Christ?" Pilate asked. They all answered, "Crucify him!" 23"Why? What crime has he committed?" asked Pilate. But they shouted all the louder, "Crucify him!" 24When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. "I am innocent of this man's blood," he said. "It is your responsibility!" 25All the people answered, "Let his blood be on us and on our children!" 26Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified." If those who are called and mandated to develop these systems that are about uniting our beloved motherland Kenya and our people have failed and the best they can do is to give us systems that divide us year after year, let them tell us so. Together with our genuine calling to proclaim the Good News of JESUS CHRIST, I and others of similiar devotion are going to devote ourselves to developing a system whose basis is to unite the people not to divide the people. For we cannot afford to sit back only to be called upon after the voting to go and bury Kenyans, to go and counsel Kenyans, to go and pray with injured and wounded Kenyans. I SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! IN JESUS CHRIST HOLY NAME! GOD FORBIDS THAT ANY MORE KENYAN LIFE BE LOST BECAUSE OF POLITICIANS. And if that is the SYSTEM PRESENTED TO US ON 4TH AUGUST 2010 AND TO BE USED IN 2012, A SYSTEM TO UNITE KENYANS. GLORY BE TO GOD! AMEN. "THE LORD GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU. THE LORD GOD MAKES HIS FACE TO SHINE UPON YOU AND BE GRACIOUS TO YOU. MAY THE LORD SHOW YOU HIS FAVOR AND GIVE YOU HIS PEACE." NUMBERS 6:24-26. GOD LOVES YOU ALL AND I LOVE YOU TOO! SHALOM! SHALOM! SHALOM! JOHN KAMAU |
